Biography

Neal Auction Company is New Orleans’ oldest and most respected auction house. Since its inception in 1983, Neal Auction has set record prices for fine art, pottery, furniture, porcelain, prints, maps, documents, silver, decorative arts, and historic ephemera, and is widely considered the country’s foremost auctioneer of Southern regional material.

Neal Auction schedules fully catalogued auctions every two months at their historic Magazine Street gallery. Each sale is comprised of antiqu­es, fine art and other material from a combination of estates, private collectors, instituti­ons, and trade consignors. Every auction is internationally and nationally advertised in a variety of publications and media outlets, providing consignors with the best possible exposure for their property. Each sale is accompa­nied by a color brochure and fully illustrated catalogue in which each item is appropriately described and estimated.
