Poly Auction (Hong Kong) Limited (“Poly Auction Hong Kong”) is a young but remarkable auction house in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region established in 2012 by Poly Culture Group Corporation Limited. Beijing Poly International Auction, a subsidiary of Poly Culture Group, is China’s largest state-owned auction house and holds the highest auction transaction volume of Chinese art globally.

Poly Culture Group expanded its auction business to Hong Kong in 2012 with the establishment of Poly Auction Hong Kong, and was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 6 March 2014 (03636.HK). Poly Auction Hong Kong has repeatedly achieved record auction results over the past few years. In 2018, the Spring and Autumn Auctions achieved a total transaction sum of HKD 2.1 billion.

The auction house specialises in six departments, (1) Modern and Contemporary Art, (2) Chinese Paintings, (3) Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, (4) Magnificent Jewels and Prestige Watches, (5) Noble Handbags and Hype Collectibles, and (6) Rare Wine, Whisky and Chinese Tea. Poly Auction Hong Kong also boasts a contemporary art exhibition space and clientele service platform called Poly Gallery Hong Kong.

Poly Auction Hong Kong has entered the international art market with the aim to provide professional consultation, exceptional collections and the highest quality service. Poly Auction also has a global network of offices, including Hong Kong, Macao, Taipei, Xiamen, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo and New York.
