This is one of many art pieces assigned to us on a consignment basis. We personally retrieved each item from an attic during a pre-home/estate listing sale. Owned by our client who owns a prominent Italian restaurant in Los Angeles & Beverly Hills for 40-50 years. Biography Ann Cochran Ann Cochran was active in southern California in 1940, Originals where she designed and painted pottery. Her diverse painting subjects include clowns, circus scenes, and floral still lifes. She died in NYC in 1968. Source: Edan Hughes, author of the book "Artists in California, 1786-1940"

Payment

International Bidders must perform a bank wire transfer within 3 business days of Auction End ($500.00 and over). PAYPAL IS PREFERRED.
All goods must be paid within 3 working days from close of auction. Taxes

California sales tax applies to all California residents. If you posses a Sellers Permit, please tell our Customer Service Department by email. California State has become very restrictive as of late so we must require you to please include a copy of your seller's permit, business card and official picture ID so we can adjust the sales tax accordingly.

Picking-up Merchandise
Due to the nature of our business we are not open to the public with exception of the pick-up of Large, Heavy or Valuable items. Arrangements can be made by emailing info@cc-digital.com Monday-Saturday 11-4pm

Returns
All sales are final. There are no cancellations, returns or refunds. Under certain circumstances, we may make an exception and allow a cancellation, return or approve a credit. However, in the case of a return the Buyer's Premium, Taxes/Credit Card Charges as well as Shipping & Insurance Cost will not be refunded. If a special offering was given than that would be reversed and added to the list. A written dispute with clear, valid and documented justification for a return must be submitted for consideration. In the case of jewelry and/or gemstones/precious metals, mineral specimens, carvings and watches a GIA, or GRS SWISS LAB report proving contradictory gemological information would be required,


Re-lists
Occasionally you may notice that an item is re-listed. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as a winning bidder in a previous auction not paying for the item, multiple types of the same item or it is one of the few items listed with a reserve and the reserve was not met.

Disclaimer Appraisals
Certified Rare Treasures utilizes Retail Replacement Value Appraisals, which are the most common. These types of evaluations are written for insurance needs. This would be the cost to replace the jewelry, with an item of equal quality and kind, considered to be the current market price or the replacement value. This type of appraisal is done to protect you in the event of damage or loss of a valuable item. Our appraisals are conducted by and independent 3rd Party appraisal firm that utilizes Certified GIA Gemologist, if more information is needed you are welcome to contact them directly: CRG Laboratory - cs@certifiedraregems.com. Appraisals should be used for verification of gemstone and/or metal weight, size, and grade only, not actual value. Appraisal value should be considered for insurance purposes only, not actual value, as price varies greatly from retail locations through-out the world. Items should not be purchased with the expectation to resell for appraisal price or for profit.

Certified Rare Treasures reserves the right to reject any bid.

Certified Rare Treasures decision to refuse any bid, withdraw a Lot, determine a successful bidder, to cancel a sale, re-offer and re-sell an item in dispute, is conclusive, absolute and final.

Reserves
Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price, below which the lot will not be sold agreed upon by the consignor and Government Auction. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed.

Breach of Sale
If the buyer fails to pay in full with good cleared funds or fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Sale as set forth herein, Government Auction reserves the right to exercise one or more of the following remedies, in addition to any other remedies available to Government Auction by law:
a) Hold the defaulting buyer liable for the full purchase amount due.
b) Cancel the sale.
c) Forbid the buyer from participating in any future auction.

Cancelling a winning bid
If a winning bid is cancelled for any reason and the winning bidder wishes to back out, a 7% fee will be charged to the winning bidder to cover the costs associated with listing and the non-performer may be blocked from future bidding.

Liability
In no event will the liability of Certified Rare Treasures to any purchaser with respect to any item exceed the purchase price actually paid by such purchaser for such item.

Condition

Shipping Instructions

AIl items will be shipped within 10 business days of payment in most cases. Most domestic packages are sent USPS Priority Mail unless noted in the description of the item. Packages valued under $50 are sent uninsured but with delivery confirmation, packages valued at $50 or more will be charged and require a direct signature confirmation. Shipping and insurance are charged at the USPS published rates. In the event that a package is lost by USPS, there will be a claim filed and all monies will be refunded once London Gallery Auctions, LLC. have been paid. All international shipments will be sent by USPS Priority or Express Mail, FedEx or DHL (at their published rates), at the seller's discretion. All import duty (VAT) taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
