By Seiyodo Bunshojo (1764-1838), early 19th centuryA snail gliding over the top of a cut length of bamboo with four prominent nodes, signed Seiyodo Bunshojo chokoku (carved by Seiyodo Bunshojo). 5.8cm (2¼in) high.
