A collection of three Italian gentlemen's portraits, drawings, ca. 1800, 156 x 187 - 342 x 470 mm
Attributed to Francesco Novelli (1764-1836), a portrait of the painter Giovanni Battista Rubeis (1743-1819), original design for an engraving, bister ink on paper, dated 1795, 342 x 470 mm
Pietro Ermini (1774-1850), the oval portrait of a gentleman, dated 1832, pencil on paper, 280 x 307 mm
Luigi Calamatta (1801-1869), the oval portrait of a man, pencil on paper, 156 x 187 mm

Condition Report

- portrait of Giovanni Battista Rubeis: all edges damaged, water damage to the upper part, stains all over, tears all over the edges (restored to the back)
- Ermini: severe water damage and stains to the lower part, some foxing to the paper
- Calamatta: the portrait cut out and glued on an other piece of paper
- In overall, the items appear in our opinion in acceptable to good conditon.
