A Continental Silvered Bronze Figural Group, Eugenio Avolio (Italian, 1876-1929),
depicting Poseidon standing atop a rock and plunging his trident down toward a sea with Triton blowing a conch horn, a pair of hippocampi and three dolphins, signed E. Avolio on the rock beneath Poseidon's left foot, raised on a gilt metal base.
Height 23 1/2 inches.
