Lot 1019: A Dutch silver table bell

Mark of Willem Pont, Amsterdam, 1769, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Amsterdam Spirally fluted, cast and chased with rococo wave ornament and with plain moulded bow, the baluster handle and finial similarly cast, marked on underside of bow 14 cm. (51/4 in.) high 328 gr. (10 oz.) PROVENANCE A gift from Premsela & Hamburger, Amsterdam, 1963 to Dreesmann. Dr Anton C.R. Dreesmann (inventory no. G-38).
