Description

A Dutch silver tobacco pot Mark of Willem Pont, Amsterdam, 1782, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Haarlem Bombé, on three scroll and leaf feet with flower terminals and an openworked flower and foliage rim, the body embossed with flowers and leaves, the detachable cover rocaille ornament and flower finial, marked on base 17 cm. high 506 gr.
