A FABERGÉ CARVED BOWENITE, VARI-COLOR GOLD, AND ENAMEL LETTER OPENER AND BOOKMARK, WORKMASTER MICHAEL PERCHIN, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1899-1903 the tapering, flattened bowenite blade mounted with two-color gold band enameled translucent blue over an engine turned ground and set with three seed pearls and with green gold anthemia, the top set with a finely chased laurel wreath in green gold tied with red gold ribbons, the back with a thin blade for marking book pages marked with workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, and with 56 standard, also with scratched inventory number 5270 length 6 1/2 in. 16.5 cm
