PETERSBURG, 1899-1903 the rock crystal, tau-shaped handle carved with a spiraling pattern, the collar within two-color gold laurel bands and enameled translucent golden yellow over a wavy guilloché ground and set with a laurel festoon centered by a gold bow knot set with a diamond with workmaster's initials and 56 standard height 2 in. (excluding wood mount) 5.1 cm
