Attributed to Anton Kothgasser, the flared form finely painted with a narrow band of roses, pansies and forget-me-nots on a white ground between amber-stained bands with gilt foliate borders, inscribed Ehret die Frauen, sie flechten und weben, himlische Rosen ins irdische Leben., above a narrow band of raised diamonds between gilt line borders, the everted foot cut with palisade flutes edged in gilding, amber-stained star-cut base, gilt-edged rim, 10.6cm high (some typical minor rubbing to gilding)
