of oval bellied form with gadrooned borders, the domed cover crested, the cover and body with ropetwist handles with scroll leaf junctions, raised on four twisted supports capped with a shaped cartouche with gadrooned scroll border, terminating in a ball foot, engraved with a coat-of-arms, length handle to handle 40cm, weight 92.9oz.

The arms and crest of MILBANKE Baronet of Halnaby, Yorkshire for Sir Ralph Milbanke, ( ?- 1793) 5th Bt., MP for Scarborough who married (1748) Elizabeth, daughter of John Hedworth, MP for Chester-le-Street.
