Marked Fabergé, with the workmaster's mark of Henrik Wigström, St Petersburg, 1899-1908, scratched inventory number 17237
Oval, enamelled in translucent salmon pink over a wavy guilloché ground, within a stiff-leaf chased gold border, the elliptical aperture with gadrooned and reeded gold border, marked on border and reverse
2 1/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high

Provenance

The ledgers of Fabergé's London branch record that this belt buckle was sold to a Mrs Eckstein on December 24, 1908 for £7 5s.
