Lot 1583: A group of three ivory figural studies

Each signed Meigyokusai, the first of Shoki standing in military garb with his right hand stroking his long black beard, the other holding a sword behind his back; the second of an oni perched on the top of a conical straw hat concealing Shoki's sword, inlaid accents; the third of a seated oni attempting to groom his curly locks, with inlaid eyes.
