The large circular plaque depicting Saskia, after Rembrandt, she dressed in wide brimmed hat with colourful plume of feathers, reserved against a gilt ground with relief beaded ornamentation, mounted with a carved oak frame, signed H.W. Foster; plaque 56cm diam, impressed number 871, date code and script mark to verso.
