A LOUIS XV STYLE ORMOLU MOUNTED, KINGWOOD, TULIPWOOD AND MARQUETRY BONHEUR-DU-JOUR, IN THE MANNER OF PIERRE ROUSSEL, LATE 18TH CENTURY inlaid overall with a diverse array of still-life motifs incorporating teapots, cups, saucers, vases of flowers, writing implements and books, the upper section of rectangular outline with a pierced brass gallery above six small drawers, pull-out writing slide and a inlaid writing surface with overhanging chamfered corners, the single frieze drawer with a ormolu guilloche band, supported on tapering cabriole legs with bachanalian mask head foliate surmounts, united by a shaped marquetry platform and terminating in gilt capped lion paw feet, 73CM WIDE, 49.
