the hull of the model is carved from a single piece of bone with built up bulwarks and painted black details. Other details include: anchors, deck grating, stove pipe, eight cannons rigged on carriages, chain plates, tiller and other details. The model is rigged with a bow sprit, masts, cross spars, boom and gaff, standing and running rigging and bracing lines. Mounted on a pair of turned bone pedestals on a ivory and horn base with a railing and displayed within a glass domed case with mahogany base
