Contract
1.
Bidder acknowledges that an auction site is a potentially dangerous place, i.e. flammable, noxious, corrosive and pressurized substances are present, heavy equipment is being operated and electric circuits may be live. Every person at the auction site, at any time, shall be there at his/her own risk without notice of the condition of the premises and the activities thereon and the bidder shall so advise his/her agents and employees. No person shall have any claim against SAH, its officers, directors, agents, employees, principals, or attorneys for any injuries sustained or loss of property which may occur from any cause whatsoever.
2.
Any dispute arising as to any bidding shall be resolved by SAH at their sole discretion, and SAH may put the lot in dispute up for sale again. SAH reserves the right to refuse any bid, which it considers to be an insignificant advance over the preceding bid. No person shall bid on any lot of which he is the Consignor, agent, associate, or on behalf of the Consignor.
3.
Bid rigging (or a conspiracy to fix a bid) is illegal. Any person that attempts to rig or fix bids will be prosecuted.
4.
Purchaser is responsible for insuring their purchases immediately after payment. SAH shall not be responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any purchase. Purchaser shall not be entitled to remove any item from the auction facility until all of their purchases are paid for in full including all applicable goods, sales or use taxes.

SAH may elect to record either through video or audio the auction. You hereby waive all objections to this activity and release SAH from any and all liability due to said recording. In the case of a conflict over price or a disagreement between the two bidding books maintained by the Auctioneer and his/her assistant/clerk, SAH will review the audio and/or video recordings to determine the correct price and will adjust the final purchase price accordingly.
6.
The Auction Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, and any action hereunder against SAH shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted through Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Service (JAMS), Alternate Dispute Resolution Service (ARC), or through any mutually agreed upon arbitrator selected by the parties in the County of Los Angeles, State of California.
7.
If any check offered by Buyer to SAH in payment of auction lot or any other amount due under this Agreement is returned for lack of sufficient funds, a "stop payment" or any other reason, Buyer will pay SAH a returned check charge of $25.00.
8.
California law does not provide for a "cooling off" or other cancellation period for vehicles. Therefore, you cannot later cancel a contract simply because you change your mind, decide the vehicle costs too much, or wish you had acquired another vehicle.
9.
Funds for a vehicle purchase must be certifiable prior to the processing or release of DMV documents. Documents will be prepared to be effective only in the jurisdiction in which the auction is being conducted.
10.
If SAH is unable to make available or deliver the purchase or clear title to the same, or documentation required in respect of any purchase, such as "Bill of Sale" or a "Seller's Invoice", whether before or after delivery, SAH's sole liability shall be the return of monies paid in respect of such purchase upon its return by purchaser. Any such purchase shall be returned or surrendered upon demand by SAH.
Taxes
State and local sales tax will be assessed and collected on all purchases unless legal exemption documentation is provided at the time of sale.
