POSSIBLY FROM THE WORKSHOP OF MICHAEL PACHER (1435-1498), GERMAN, LATE 15TH CENTURY
Each depicted standing with their left hands outstretched -- both probably missing further elements -- Saint Florian holding a bucket above a burning house and Saint George standing atop a dragon, each on carved Gothic style oak brackets
42½ in. (108 cm.) high (including later base to Saint Florian); brackets 17¼ in. (44 cm.) high, 15¾ in. (40 cm.) wide (2)
