Notes

The arms are those of Carnac impaling Richards for James Rivelt-Carnac, 1st Bart., 1784-1846, and his wife Anna Maria, eldest daughter of William Richards of Penglais, Co. Cardigan. James was chairman of the East India Co., created baronet in 1836, M.P. for Sarwich, Governor of Bombay 1838-41.
