A RARE BLUE AND WHITE RESERVE-DECORATED PEAR-SHAPED BOTTLE VASE

Painted in delicate shades of dark cobalt blue with three large blue reserve-decorated flower spray medallions of ogival shape between 'lotus petals' above the plain short spreading foot, and below bands of archaistic
ruyi lappets, chevron, and upright leaves at the shoulder and lower neck, a pendent leaf lappet and chevron band below the flaring rounded rim.


7 1/2in (19.1cm) high

Generally, in excellent overall condition. There are a few small nibbles and fritting at the paring of the foot glaze which fades to a slightly yellow tone at the foot rim. Some minor minute air-bubble pinpricks but unobtrusive.
