Description

A silver and cloisonne miniature goblet, Russian 1908-1917, makers mark for Albert Holmstrom, the goblet designed as a tapering cylindrical bowl profusely enamelled with reserves of brightly enamelled stylised flowers against a silver gilt ground, raised on knopped stem and with conforming decoration to the spreading foot, 9cm high, weight 49gms Albert Holmstrom (1876-1925) is listed as a Faberge workmaster. He was Finnish, born in Kirkkonummi, Finland and was the son of August Wilhelm Holmstrom. They both adopted the same 'AH' as their makers mark.
