A SMALL BLACK-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE

18th century

The globular body tapering to a tall slender cylindrical neck and supported on a rounded biscuit foot with shallow cut base with slightly convex center, all under a glassy black glaze that thins to a coffee color at the rounded everted rim and continues to the neck interior.


7in (17.8 cm) high

Condition Report

Generally, in excellent overall condition. Some iron-spots to the body. A small kiln adhesion to the base but unobtrusive.
