A SMALL CRACKLED APPLE-GREEN-GLAZED JAR

18th century

Of rounded globular shape with short waisted neck, the pale apple-green glaze with an attractive network of fine crackle, the glaze turning to a white at the rounded rim and continuing to the interior with a dense network of crackle, and neatly pooling at the tapering and rounded biscuit foot ring, with further green enamel to the biscuit base.

Generally, in excellent overall condition, save for a very small original kiln pinprick bubble-burst at the rim. Recommended.
