A shepherd and a shepherdess conversing in a stable interior with sheep, a goat and chickens nearby signed with a monogram 'A.C.' (lower right) oil on panel 40.1 x 55.9 cm. PROVENANCE Anon. Sale, Van Marle & Bignell, The Hague, 15 March 1975, lot 48, as Aelbert Cuyp (purchased by the father of the present owner).
