Description

Adele Earnshaw (New Zealand, b. 1949), "And Then There Was One," watercolor on paper, signed lower left and titled and signed on a label on the verso and on the backing paper, measures 3 x 11 inches to the edge of the image, 11.50 x 19.50 framed. CONDITION: Good. Adele's paintings have been exhibited at the Natural History Museum in New York and have toured Japan and Sweden with Birds in Art exhibitions. She is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and was selected by her native New Zealand to design the first three stamps for the Game Bird Habitat Stamp Programme, based on the U.S. Federal Duck Stamp Program.
