* After A. Corsi Lalli (1849-1937). Love leading the Pilgrim, c.1894, pencil on paper, initials F.G. lower right, image 7.8 x 15.5cm (3 x 6ins), framed & glazed. A copy after the painting by Corsi Lalli, itself a version of Edward Burne Jones, Love leading the Pilgrim, for which the design dated from the early 1870's. The original painting wasn't begun until 1877 and was worked on by Burne Jones for the next 20 years.. (1)
