In Falk's drawing, the logic and order of the alternating squares of the checkerboard is playfully broken by the two adjoining white squares in the patterning. The characteristic repetition of form in Falk's early work, such as cupboards displaying shoes or piles of fruit, is manifest here in the minimalist squares. Please note: this work is unframed.
