Condition Note: Canvas lined, scene appears to have been painted on a canvas with two strips to extend the composition along the upper and right sides, slight loss to original canvas along lower edge, scattered minor flaking, gennerally to upper left and lower right, under UV light inpainting along seams of added strips, thin diagional line of inpainting from center of upper edge to top of head of woman seated to the right, scattered inpainting to her hair and surrounding area, scattered minor inpainting in general, inpainting along edges of canvas, large area of inpainting to lower right corner, approx. 5 inches by 4 inches, and to center of right seamed edge, about 2 inches by five inches, slight buckling along said seam
