Another version of the present composition was sold in these Rooms on 24 April 2002 (EUR 16.000). As these two versions are so similar (only slight differences in the signature and in some of the objects can be detected), the provenances of both paintings have been cause for confusion in the past.

Christie's charge a premium to the buyer on the final bid price of each lot sold at the following rates: 23.8% of the final bid price of each lot sold up to and including € 150,000 and 14.28% of any amount in exces of € 150,000. Buyers' premium is calculated on the basis of each lot individually.
