Condition: Surface grime, varnish inconsistencies.
Provenance: Through the estate of the artist. N.B. Alfredus Williams was an Afro-Caribbean self-taught artist born in Dominica, West Indies. He is best known for his genre scenes and landscapes of his native region executed in a detailed primitive-style.
