Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna of Russia (1798-1860), in profile to the right, in ochre-yellow coloured dress adorned with large gem set brooches and gem-set crucifix with drop pearl pendant, ermine stole draped acroos her bodice, pearl necklace, diamond crown and floating gauze veil in her curled brown hair, wearing the blue moiré sash and breast star of the Imperial Russian Order of St. Andrew
signed and dated in pencil on the backing paper 'Rockstuhl 1859'
oval, 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.) high, gilt-metal mount within blue velvet panel with diamond-set crown surmount
