L. Eckardt, Dresden"; consigner states the grandfather is believed to have been a physician and the officer possibly a major in the Indiana infantry during the Civil War; all mounted on board with a green vine design incised wallpaper type fabric, under glass in a mahogany and gilt wood trimmed shadowbox frame;
