inscribed 'Amphibien Tab' (lower left) and signed and dated 'A Zötl pinx. am 2. Februar 1855' (lower right), with inscribed title 'Der Schleider = Klapperer. Crotalus miliarius. Lebt im wärmeren Nordamerika, und ist wegen ihrer Giftzähne sehr gefürchtet. Die Abbildung zeugt natürliche Grösse' (along the bottom)
