Shipping

Because of the uniqueness of each item and insurance costs involved, shipping costs have not been included. They will be calculated at time of purchase, once I obtain the shipping address and Zip code. On some of the larger heaver items, like large paintings or bronze sculptures, there may be special handling charges or preparation charges like building a special wooden cart to handle the item.

Depending on the size of the item, I ship Priority USPS Mail or UPS in the States. I will also ship internationally but will need the destination country to calculate the shipping charges.

All items will be insured for cost of purchase given their uniqueness .

For international shipments, I use Priority International or First Class Mail. Priority International has a tracking number, but not all countries scan packages. You may prefer regular First Class International mail, which is just as secure.

All International Customers receive sharp, clear photos of their paid customs form, declaration and postal receipts.

All items will be packaged using the best methods available to prevent any damage while in transit. When appropriate I provide, tracking information, dates, and or address information needed.

Welcome to Cultural Patina. I have been collecting all things beautiful and unique my entire life and would like to share these items with others having a similar interest. Over time, my store will have representative items from the American South West, Asia, Middle East, Central and South America and Nagaland in North Eastern India.

I strive to offer the best items that I have collected or can find for sale to the discriminating collector of unique cultural items from each of these areas of the world.

I also try to focus on vintage, prehistoric, and historic items if possible when I can find them. My major areas of interest are pottery, textiles and extraordinary pieces of adornment. Additional photographs are available for each item upon request. When available, provenance is also provided on the piece.

If you want to return an item or have an issue with it, please take a moment and extend an opportunity for fixing problems before leaving feedback because it is impossible to resolve the issue if I am unaware of it. Your satisfaction is important to me, so contact me ASAP so we can work together towards a resolution.

I want you to be happy with your purchases and gladly accept returns postmarked within 3 days of receipt. The items should be returned in the original packing materials, in the same condition as when I sent them. The cost of shipping returns and insurance are the responsibility of the customer.
