After Franceschi Modelled as a drapped youth, leaning to one side, holding the caduceus to his left hand, his petasus to the side, the integral rectangular plinth inscribed A.Francheschi 471/2in. (120.7cm.) wide overall; 243/4in. (63cm.) high overall NOTES Alessandro Franceschi (1789-1834) Born in Bologna, he specialised in memorials but also sculpted a number of mythological figures. His most famous work is the memorial of Berilacqua in Ferrara.
