* F.T.Lott is recorded as living at 33 Belmont Road, St Helier, Jersey in the 1850's. He exhibited in London from 1852 to 1879. No Guernsey subjects are recorded, however he did exhibit this painting and some Jersey subjects at the Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street, London.
