Item Overview

Description

An Original Paul Philippe French Ivory Bronze c1920
This is the best of both worlds, one of the iconic art deco sculptures by one of the best French Sculptors... Paul Philippe, but it has also had a spectacular accident and she is tragically missing one finger on her left arm, and the whole of her right arm. This piece complete if perfect is a $15,000 item, but as is we will find out. There is also a small chunk out of the marble plinth.
But just have a look at the carved ivory face, the extended leg, then the bronze body is gilded, with that shaped marble stand, and its signed. I dont usually carry damaged items, but this is just so captivating... as is... she stands 38cm high...
