Provenance: Comte de Mailly (signature on A2 r and armorial bookplate).

Second edition of Androuet du Cerceau's important work, first issued in 1576 and 1579 and dedicated to Catherine de Médicis, in which he illustrates the elevations, perspective and architectural details of the thirty principal châteaux of France.
