Lot 648: Anna Keener (American, b.1895), "Willows and Oaks", c.1960; acrylic/board, 26" x 34", signed and

titled. Keener studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Kansas City Art Institute, and the University of New Mexico. She was a member of the Southern States Art League, Western Art Association, and the New Mexico Educational Association. She exhibited throughout the 1960s-70s, at the Museum of New Mexico, Kansas City Art Institute, and the Rocky Mountain States Print College. Keener taught at the Eastern New Mexico College.
