ANNA PALM SWEDISH 1859-1924 STOCKHOLM FRÅN PALMERSKA HUSET (VIEW OF STOCKHOLM FROM THE PALMERSKA HOUSE) signed and titled Anna Palm - Stockholm från Palmerska huset lower left watercolour on paper 34 by 56cm., 13½ by 22in.

The view is of the island of Blasieholmen with the bridge across to Skeppsholmen. The buildings along the quayside are, from left to right: the Grand Hotel; the Bolindska Palatset (the Swedish industrialist Jean Bolinder's hôtel de ville, now an annex of the Grand Hotel); the Lydmar Hotel (also a private residence when the view was painted); and the National Gallery.
