KAHLO, MEXICO Pair of antique silver gelatin architectural photographic prints, by Guillermo Kahlo, (Mexican, 1871-1941) comprising: "Edificio de las Lineas Nationales de Mexico", dated 1910; "Cia Bancaria de Obras y Bienes Raices, proyecto y construccion del J. Francisco Servano", signed lower right, dated 1907; largest sight, 10"h, 13"w, overall 20.25"h, 23.25"w, 8.5lbs total, **NOTE- Guillermo Kahlo was commissioned by the Mexican government to photograph significant buildings in Mexico City around the turn of the century, interestingly Kahlo is the father of Frida Kahol, an important figure in contemporary Mexican art who was known for her revolutionary Surrealist and Symbolist self portraits
