A l’œil nu : Le tableau se présente dans un bel état malgré quelques petits manques de matière ponctuels, situés dans le bord inférieur au niveau du sol. Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage correctement réalisé, qui a préservé les très jolis empattements. La toile d’origine est visible au niveau des bords droit et gauche (à cause du cadre actuel). A la lampe U. V. : Le tableau apparaît dans un très bel état, sous un vernis vert ancien, épais et homogène. On ne remarque pas de restaurations, seulement des repeints le long de l’extrême bord inférieur (très probablement dus aux frottements du cadre). To the naked eye: The painting appears on beautiful condition (except for very small and limited losses on the lower edge, on the floor). The painting has been correctly re lined, preserving the beautiful impastos. The original canvas is visible on the right and left edges (due to the actual frame). Under U.V. light: The painting appears to be in a very beautiful condition, under a thick, green, old and homogeneous varnish. We cannot notice any restorations, just some repaints on the very lower edge (very probably due to the rubbing of the frame).
