Overall the condition of the bronze is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface. There is minor wear to the patina at the edges of the wings and some rubbing to the tip of the beak. There are some minor nicks and wear to the gilding, particularly at the edges. There are a few minor scratches, including to the proper left side of the head and to the right side of the tail. A few original casting plugs are slightly visible, including at the base and the proper left side of the chest. The base is a little shallower at the front, meaning that if you press down on the beak, the bronze rocks very slightly. Please note that this bronze was cast in 2012.
