Provenance: From the estate of Edith Hecht, a fellow Romanian friend of the artist.
Note: Daghani had little formal training, but attended art classes in Munich in the 1920s. A Holocaust survivor, he emigrated to Israel in 1958 but left for France after one year and settled in Vence. In 1970 he moved to Switzerland. He arrived in England in 1977 and settled in Hove where he lived until his death. He exhibited in Romania, Israel and France.
