Artist or Maker

Notes

Known as a portraitist, Baccani worked in London from 1859-1882, exhibiting a number of his portraits of members of English society, often fantasy characters and actors. He left England in 1884 and settled in Paris, where he notably exhibited 'La Marchande des Fruits' in 1889 at the Salon.
