Young woman To the naked eye: The painting seems to be in a good overall condition. It has been relined but the canvas remains nice and soft. There are restorations visible mainly along the edges, in the garland, especially in the lower part. Covered with a thick varnish layer. Under UV light: The restorations visible to the naked eye are also noticeable, especially in the background, in the flowers on the lower part, and in the back of the dress. Young man To the naked eye: The painting seems to be in a good overall condition. It has been relined but the canvas remains nice and soft. Covered with an old and thick varnish layer. Restorations are visible, especially in the green backgrounds and in the trees. Under UV light: Restorations are noticeable, especially in the background.
