Description

Attributed to E. W. Godwin (British, 1833-1886)
A set of four mahogany side chairs, circa 1880, probably made by William Watt, the upper splat band carved with eight-petaled flowers amongst stylised leaves, the lower splat made of a series of six ring-turned spindles, on ring turned legs connected by reeded rails, mounted on 'Cope's Patent' brass castors, 37" high (4).
