A Lady, standing before trees and a rose bush, wearing gold dress embroidered with crimson roses, elaborately embellished with white lace trim and ribbons to the bodice, décolleté, cuffs and sleeves, long white gloves, a miniature on a black bracelet strap on her left forearm, a fan in her left hand, diamond pendant jewel on her black lace choker, diamond pendent earrings, her hair powdered and dressed with small flowers and white lace, two doves on the tree behind her left shoulder.
