ATTRIBUTED TO LOUISE HOLLANDINE, PRINCESS PALATINE (1622- 1709) PORTRAIT OF A LADY 109 by 75.5 cm. Three-quarter length, seated in a landscape, wearing red, holding flowers Condition Note: Old relining, stable. The painting has a dirty old varnish, very yellow. The paint surface is in good condition, slightly worn to the background, minor paint losses to the right side of the face and stretch marks. Minor discoloured retouchings visible to the centre and lower centre. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals strengthening to hair, chin, minor retouchings to the background and dress.
